Summer is here which means sun, fun and VOLLEYBALL CAMP!

While Nickel City does not currently host our own summer camps, we share information about summer camps offered in our area.

Due to some changes in availability, the Orange and Royal teams have revised practice schedules. This includes changes to practice days and/or times as well as practice sites.

Players have received notice of updates by email and the new practice information, effective the week of January 17th, which is updated on the calendar and each team page.

Based on the recent request for player availability, we have reached out separately to anyone we've identified that may have conflicts with the new schedules. If you have not received a separate email and have concerns about the new schedule, please let us know and we can work out a solution.

Many of our athletes may be new to club volleyball or returning after missing a season. Players who have accepted their offer to join Nickel City for the 2021-22 season are required to have the full season WEVA membership in order to practice and participate in events.

• If you have a Tryout membership you can upgrade to the full season membership. The upgrade cost will be $49. Upgrade HERE: https://memberships.sportsengine.com/org/western-empire-volleyball/affiliation/Nickel-City-Volleyball/get-membership

• For those who already have a full season membership, you may have been sent an invitation for your WEVA membership to be assigned to Nickel City. If you do not see the email invitation, please log into the Sports Engine account associated with the player profile. You can find the invite in Notifications on your HOME screen or by clicking the BELL icon on top right.

Tryout sessions for the 2022 Nickel City Volleyball season have concluded.

Thank You to the players and staff who all helped make our sessions a success! We are very excited by the talent at all age groups and will be sending results and team offers beginning Thursday, 12/9 through Saturday, 12/11.

• If you attended a tryout, please look for your email and respond to accept or decline your any offer.
• If you attended a tryout and have not received results by 12/12, please email us.

As a reminder, regional players will be required to place their jersey orders by Thursday 12/16 and all players must pay their team deposit by 12/22. Team practices will begin after the winter recess.
