FOOTBALL SQUARES

Football Squares Pool
Each pool is a basic 100 square grid. The board is a 10×10 grid of boxes where each row and column are assigned a number from 0 to 9. In football squares, each square of the grid can be purchased for the buy-in cost per square. 


At the end of each quarter of the game, the last digit of each teams’ score is compared to the grid to determine a winner. (ex. in Q1 Bills score = 21, Dolphins score = 3.  The Q1 winner would be the square on the grid that corresponds to Bills - 1, Dolphins - 3). Note - If there is a tie at the end of the 4th quarter, the last payout will be for the final/OT score.


The grid numbers representing the team scores are randomly assigned after all squares have been sold but prior to kick-off. Sales for squares will generally conclude the day before the game, unless otherwise noted.

PAYMENTS & PAYOUTS

Payments can be made to Nickel City Volleyball via PayPal or Venmo (please send using "Friend/Family option so full payment is received). Find us using our email (nickelcityvb@gmail.com) or username:

In the payments notes include the following:

  • Game date of the pool you are buying squares for
  • Square number(s) requested. If no square #s indicated, they will be randomly assigned

Payouts: Similar to a 50/50 raffle, the total payouts for this fundraiser will be 50% of the sell out value of the pool (a pool with a $25 buy-in will payout a total of $1,250 in winnings across the four quarters, Nickel City will keep the other 50% of the pot). Payouts for each game are listed on each individual pool grid. 


Winnings will be sent via the same method of payment within 48 hours of the conclusion of the game.
