UPGRADES & CLUB ASSIGNMENTS

Players who have accepted their offer to join Nickel City for the 2021-22 season are required to have the full season WEVA membership in order to participate in events (including practices and tournaments) this season.


  • If you have a Tryout membership you can upgrade to the full season membership. The upgrade cost will be $49. Upgrade WEVA Membership

  • For those who already have a full season membership, you may have been sent an invitation for your WEVA membership to be assigned to Nickel City. If you do not see the email invitation, please log into the Sports Engine account associated with the player profile. You can find the invite in Notifications on your HOME screen (or by clicking the BELL icon on top right).

ABOUT WEVA

  • The Western Empire Volleyball Association (WEVA) is a regional chapter of USA Volleyball (USAV), our governing body for club activity. 

  • Membership provides coverage under the USA Volleyball Insurance Program. 

  • ALL players, coaches and staff MUST be members of USAV/WEVA in order to participate in sanctioned events (including tryouts, practices, clinics and tournaments).

MEMBERSHIP TYPES

Tryout Membership ($15.00) - Recommended for Tryouts

  • This membership is intended for the club tryout period and expires on December 31
  • When a player accepts an offer with a club/team, the players must "upgrade" to the full season membership in order to continue with training and/or competition after 12/31. Simply pay the difference to upgrade.


Full Season/Annual Membership ($64.00)
 

  • This membership covers participant for the full season at all local, regional and national level USAV sanctioned events. The membership is valid through August 31.


PURCHASING A PLAYER MEMBERSHIP

Memberships are now managed through SportsEngine (SE) and a debit/credit card or bank account information must be used to complete the transaction.


STEP 1: Establish PRIMARY account

  • A parent/guardian MUST create a PRIMARY Sports Engine account
  • Go to http://login.sportsengine.com to create or login to existing account
  • Profile information should be completed as the PARENT
    • For previous club participants, do not create a new Sports Engine account; use the assistance function to recover original ID and password information


STEP 2: Purchase WEVA Membership

  • Follow link to Join/Renew your USAV/WEVA membership
  • You will be redirected back to Sports Engine to complete your purchase
  • Once logged into PRIMARY account, you will be prompted "WHO is the membership for"
  • You will need to "ADD A CHILD" (or select player name if previously added)
  • Enter/confirm profile information for your CHILD and process the membership
  • ID cards can be printed or saved digitally 
  • The CHILD sub-profile will automatically be added to the PRIMARY account 
  • You must login to PRIMARY account to manage all linked sub-profiles


Note: When you get to the checkout page, you may see an itemized breakdown of fees that go to WEVA and USAV. You may also see two separate charges on a credit card statement. The total will equal the amount for selected membership type
